Hostages the crime thriller web-seriescreated by Applause Entertainment for Hotstar Specials, directed by Sudhir Mishra was a huge hit.
The series which had a stellar cast of Ronit Roy, Tisca Chopra, Parvin Dabas, Aashim Gulati etc narrated the story of the surgeon Dr. Mira Anand who gets trapped in a no-win situation.
News coming in is that this popular Applause Entertainment series produced by Banijay Asia will soon start work on Season 2.
The shoot for the news season will kick start in November this year.
The Season 2 will have a brand new case and intriguing story narrative.
When contacted Ronit Roy told IWMBuzz.com, “I have been told that Hostages 2 is currently in its writing stage. Shoot is currently slated to commence in mid-November.”
We buzzed Tisca Chopra who said, “I have no clue about it. I will not be part of the new season of Hostages as my story got over in Season 1.”
We reached out to the spokesperson at Hotstar and Applause Entertainment but could not get response.
