Superstar Shah Rukh Khan company Red Chillies Entertainment will produce horror series Betaal for streaming service Netflix.
We had exclusively stated about actors Aahana Kumra, Suchitra Pillai, Siddharth Menon, Manjiri Pupala, Jitendra Joshi, Krishna Bisht, and Vineet Singh being the cast of the upcoming series.
And now we have learnt that actors Jatin Goswami (Skyfire), Akhilesh Unnithan (Mad About Dance), Ankur Vikal (Slumdog Millionaire), Syna Anand (Mere Pyare Prime Minister) have joined the team.
Betaal is a horror series based in a remote village that serves as the battleground between British Indian Army officer Betaal, his battalion of zombie redcoats, and the Indian police. Betaal is Red Chillies Entertainment’s second Netflix series after espionage thriller Bard of Blood that stars Emraan Hashmi and will be out on 27 September. Betaal will be directed by Patrick Graham— who earlier helmed Netflix’s horror series Ghoul—along with Nikhil Mahajan.
We reached out to the actors but they remained unavailable for comment.
We buzzed the spokesperson at Netflix but did not get any revert.
