As per the latest media reports in Chron.com, social media sensation Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Travis Scott, are facing backlash for “climate crimes” following a recent Instagram post showcasing their private jets.
As per the platform, one of the top viral comments posted in the photo was,
“Why do I have to limit my meat consumption and use paper straws while the 1% gets to pump tons of carbon into the atmosphere for a day trip to Palm Springs?”
The discussion even happened on Twitter where a user @emily_murname shared screenshots of a recent flight made by Jenner’s plane that was logged by @CelebJets, a bot account that tracks and tweets celebrity private air travel. Departing from Camarillo, California and arriving in Van Nuys, California, the flight has an estimated car travel time of 42 minutes, according to MapQuest’s RoutePlanner tool.”
