Veteran star and impeccably perfect actor, Lillete Dubey, as per sources, has bagged a new project.
Our sources maintain that Lilette has been signed to play a pivotal role in Mahesh Bhatt’s web series for Jio Studios.
Mahesh Bhatt, as already reported by IWMBuzz, is all set to debut on digital space with a dramatic web-series based on the relationship of a struggling filmmaker and a top actress of the 70’s era.
Mahesh’s Vishesh Films and Jio Studios had joined hands for the yet-untitled project.
Actors Amala Paul, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Amrita Puri will play lead roles in the mentioned project.
“The show is loosely based on Bhatt’s life and Lillete is expected to play the role of Mahesh’s mother,” adds a source.
We buzzed spokesperson at Jio Studios and also reached out to Lilette, but did not get any revert till the time of filing the story.
