Ace Director Viju Mane who has recently given two back-to-back hit Marathi movies in Shikari produced by Mahesh Manjrekar and Monkey Baat, will now direct a Hindi web-series, with a concept not depicted till now on the digital space.
As we know, Viju Mane is also the Director of the highest trending Marathi YouTube series ‘Struggler Saala’.
The web-series which will have comedy as its basic theme will be produced by Rudram Productions. The Writer duo Sachin – Shreya will be part of the series.
As for the cast, actor Nikunj Nayana who was recently seen in Star Bharat’s Chandrashekar in the role of Rajguru will be part of the series. He will be playing a totally different avatar here, that of a cop.
We could not reach out to Director Viju Mane.
However, Nikunj told us, “In my last series Chandrashekar, audience saw me handcuffed as a prisoner in the climax. I will now be seen on the other side of the table in this one!!. I am looking forward to working to Viju Dada. Also Writer Sachin – Shreya’s passion for writing is what I like when I heard the narration for the first time.”
We hear that the web-series will be going on floor by this month end (September end).
Talks are presently on to zero in on the platform where it will be streaming.
