Mugdha Godse, the popular model and Bollywood actor will be turning Producer with the short film, Drishtti which will stream on Hungama Play from 30 March.
Says Mugdha, “We have had plans to work on this concept for a year now. Initially we wanted to bring it on as a web-series. However, we later decided to come up with the short film version. This is a new beginning for me as Producer. We want to see how the response is and later, might plan to bring out few more episodes on a bigger level.”
“The digital medium is picking up momentum and this is a new and different platform for all to explore. We are sure that we will have more to do on the platform in the days to come,” she adds.
On the short film Drishtti, Mugdha shares, “It is a beautiful, intriguing, mystery-filled story of two females who connect on a mysterious level and how their past gets connected forms the crux of the story.”
Mugdha Godse and Umang Jain will play the central characters in the short film.
Umang as we know, was last seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the successful TV show.
Drishtti is produced by Mugdha Godse and Vishaldeep Nagra. The short is directed by Jass Khera.
