Noted actress from USA, Anuja Joshi will play the role of Rivanah in Applause Entertainment’s novel based on Novoneel’s work, while Mrinal Dutt will join her.

Novoneel Chakraborty’s novel, on The Stranger Trilogy will be made into a web-series for the digital platform by Applause Entertainment. The series which will appear as 3 seasons will be helmed by Goldie Behl.

Yesterday, we at IWMBuzz.com wrote exclusively about Marry Me, Stranger having a formidable cast in Gaurav Chopraa, Vineet Sharma, Priya Banerjee, Ankur Rathee.

We now hear of Anuja Joshi, a girl from New York, USA playing the central role of the protagonist, Rivanah. Anuja who has been a student of NYU’s Kanbar Institute of Film and Television has been part of few internationally acclaimed short films.

Joining her in yet another formidable role will be Mrinal Dutt, of TV series Private Investigator fame. Mrinal is also presently part of Viu India’s upcoming thriller, 13 Mussoorie.

As per sources, “Anuja will play the central role of Rivanah who will be hounded by her pursuer. Mrinal will play her love interest and the man in her life.”

We buzzed the actors but could not get through to them.

We reached out to Ashok Cherian, Head of Marketing and Revenue, Applause Entertainment but did not get through to him.
