IndianWikiMedia was the first to report about Karan Singh Grover joining hands with Ekta Kapoor for an upcoming show for OTT platform ALTBalaji.
Karan and Ekta’s professional relationship roots back to Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi days, almost a decade ago. Kitni marked Karan’s debut on small screen (created by Balaji Telefilms).
Karan, in the above mentioned ALTBalaji show, which has been christened Judaai, is set to play a Bengali character and the plot will capture his life’s journey in different stages.
Now, we have learnt that Ekta has picked a fresh face opposite Karan. As per our sources, newbie Palak Jain (not to be mistaken with Palak Jain currently in Laado 2 on Colors), will play the role of the female lead.
“Palak is absolutely new to the world of performing arts. This will be her first on screen experience. Judaai will go on floors next month,” says a source.
Our effort to reach out to Palak proved futile.
Ekta did not revert to our query till the time of filing the article.
