All those who’ve been waiting with bated breath for Sacred Games Season 2 to start streaming, let us inform you that your wait just got longer.

According to reports in the media, the release date of Sacred Games 2, which was originally slated for June 28, has been pushed back to August end by the streaming platform. Apparently, Netflix did not want the release dates of Sacred Games 2 to clash with another big ticket show on the platform. Also, the two main protagonists of the show, Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, are busy elsewhere and haven’t been able to devote the time required for the completion of Sacred Games 2.

While Saif is in London for the shooting of his home production, Jawani Janeman, Nawaz is busy with Bole Chudiyan, his brother’s directorial venture.

As per various sources, Sacred Games 2 has been shot on a much grander scale than the previous season, and in places as diverse as Mombasa (Kenya), Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Season 2 of Sacred Games promises to be bigger and with more bite than the previous season.

Fans of the show can rest assured that even if delayed, they are in for a mega treat with Sacred Games Season 2.
