Seasoned performer Sharad Kelkar is all set to bag yet another meaty role on the web platform.
Sharad who has shot for Amazon Prime Video series The Family Man has now bagged a crucial role in the new season of ZEE5 series Rangbaaz.
Yes you heard it right!!
Rangbaaz’ Season 1 was a huge success and starred actors Saqib Saleem, Ranvir Shorey, Ravi Kishan etc.
The series is produced by JAR Pictures. The casting for Season 2 is presently on and Sharad Kelkar is one of the first actor to be brought on board for the new season.
As we know, the Season 1 of Rangbaaz depicted the tale of a well-known UP underworld don Shri Prakash Shukla.
Sharad Kelkar who began his career on the small screen has made a name for himself on the big screen too in Hindi as well as Marathi films.
As per a reliable source, “Sharad Kelkar who is known for his challenging portrayals will in all probability play a very powerful role in Rangbaaz 2.”
For the uninitiated, Rangbaaz’ first season was an instant hit with the masses with Saqib Saleem winning accolades for his role.
We look forward to Sharad Kelkar joining the cast for the upcoming season.
When contacted, Sharad told us, “Nothing is confirmed at the moment. I have been getting calls for many web-series. So there is no clarity.”
