Shitty Ideas Trending’s (SIT) newest series Dolly Ki Shaadi welcomes all viewers of the digital platform to come and witness the wedding of Dolly!! However, the groom-search for Dolly is a pain in the neck literally, as the ideologies and thoughts of Dolly and her mother never seem to match!!
And what will happen when our own dear couple Rishi (Sukant Goel) and Rohini (Chhavi Mittal) come to salvage the situation for Lovely Bua (Meenakshi Sethi)?
Will the couple be able to hit a balance between Dolly (Avantika Ganguly) and her mother’s likings? Will Dolly ever get married?
Well, the newest series of Mohit Hussein and Chhavi Mittal will yet again take viewers on a laugh riot.
Talking about Dolly Ki Shaadi, Chhavi Mittal, Co-Founder, SIT told IndianWikiMedia.com said, “Dolly Ki Shaadi is about Dolly and her ordeal of selecting a groom. This is a funny take on it. Rohini has a bua named Lovely, and her daughter is Dolly. The Bua has a different thought process about the groom while Dolly has her own. The Bua calls Rohini to come and salvage the situation.”
Talking about Avantika Ganguly, who plays Dolly, Chhavi stated, “She’s quite a find. She is a newcomer, and we are happy with her. She’s a theatre artist. Being a Bengali, she worked really hard to play the Punjabi character.”
“We had written this script quite a while back and were waiting for the right time to use it. Now that Rishi and Rohini have been established, it was a good time to bring in two others. Dolly Ki Shaadi is a mini-series, with only 2 parts. But we will definitely repeat these characters as and make sure they keep coming back,” added Chhavi.
The first part of Dolly Ki Shaadi is streaming from today (27 October), and the second part will be streamed next Friday.
