Comedian Vir Das who’s known to be bold and expressive in terms of his comic speech is not new to controveries and rows. Earlier as well, we have heard controversies surrounding him and his acts. And now, once again, in his latest act and show in the US, as per reports in the Quint, Vir has allegedly defamed India’s image at the US. Reports suggest that a complaint was lodged with the Mumbai Police by high court lawyer Ashutosh Dubey, who serves as the legal advisor of BJP-Maharashtra Palghar District.

Reacting to the same, Vir has issued an official statement saying,
