Shweta Basu Prasad, who is known for blockbuster movie Makdee and recently featured in The Tashkent Files, is all set to enthrall the audience in a new project.
We have exclusively learnt that Shweta has bagged Netflix’s upcoming film, Serious Men, an adaptation of Manu Joseph’s book of the same name. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play the lead role in the film.
Directed by Sudhir Mishra and produced by Bombay Fables and Cineraas Entertainment, the story revolves around a wily slum dweller, who cons the country into believing that his dim-witted 10-year-old son is a genius, to realize that the only victim of his dangerous game is his son.
We buzzed the actress and spokesperson at Netflix but did not get any revert.
