Kaun Banega Shekhawati, an upcoming comedy-drama, titled after the name of a semi-arid historical region located in the north-east part of Rajasthan revolves around an idiotic king and his four daughters. As per reports, the series is set along the lines of Marathi film Rajwade And Sons (2015).
The series is being produced by filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and Sameer Nair under Emmay Entertainment and Applause Entertainment respectively. As per reports, Lara Dutta, Kritika Kamra, Anya Singh and Naseeruddin Shah are part of the project. The report also states that the series might be for Hotstar, however, nothing is confirmed yet.
Now, we hear, Raghuvir Yadav (Lagaan) and Soha Ali Khan (Rang De Basanti) are also part of the series. The two will have pivotal roles in the project.
We buzzed the actors, spokesperson at Applause Entertainment but did not get through.
