Those Pricey Thakur Girls the upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series is presently on floor. The series which is adapted from the Anuja Chauhan novel of the same name has a stellar cast. IWMBuzz.com has reported exclusively about the actors being roped in for the series. The series is produced by Smruti Shinde’s Sobo Films.
The series has actors Akshay Oberoi, Tej Sapru, Shataf Figar, Anjali Anand, Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure, Raj Babbar, Chandrachur Singh, Medha Shankar, Saher Bammba, Aditya Kapadia being part of the cast.
We had earlier reported about Gauahar Khan playing the central character in the series. However, there is a new development with Gauahar being replaced.
As we know, Gauahar Khan is presently serving an FWICE ban after an FIR was filed by BMC for flouting her quarantine rules on March 15. As a result of this, Gauahar was debarred for two months and a non-cooperative directive was issued against her.
With the shoot of Those Pricey Thakur Girls being on, the team had no option but to replace her.
News that we have got at IWMBuzz.com is that actress Swati Vatssa who has featured in Girl In The City, and Love, Lust and Confusion has bagged the prized role.
We hear that Swati has commenced shoot for the series.
We buzzed Producer Smruti Shinde and the spokesperson at Hotstar, but did not get revert.
