Amazon miniTV – Amazon’s free video streaming service – recently released the untold story of Alakh Pandey, the Edtech unicorn called ‘Physics Wallah’. To celebrate the launch and the success of the series, the cast of the show and lead actor Shriidhar Dubey (who has portrayed Alakh Pandey’s journey on screen) visited IIT Bombay to engage and interact with the young minds.
At the college, the cast interacted with the students and shared some of their life experiences. The love that they received from the students was quite overwhelming. Alakh Pandey also joined the stage to motivate and inspire students. His charisma and wise words enthralled everyone present. Alakh Pandey also shared tips and tricks for excelling in exams and also in life.
As JEE exam dates are out, Alakh suggested that students focus more on their preparations to accomplish their goals. He is seen expressing that students should choose career options that make them happy; he has been the biggest cheerleader for everyone who is definitive about their aspirations. He was elated by the fact that the show’s writers, directors, and makers are from IITs. “These IITians are doing something different than the usual career path, which is inspiring,” he said.
Shriidhar reminisced about his college days and how visiting IIT BOMBAY feels like he has come home. He said, “the love that I am receiving as Physics Wallah is unreal. This story is very close to my heart, as it is not just for students; it’s for everyone who aspires; it’s a story of aspiration, determination, and breaking barriers.”
Physics Wallah, a story of a young teacher with a far-reaching vision for educating students across the nation and the struggles he had to go through to make his vision a reality is highly inspiring. Alakh Pandey and Shriidhar Dubey’s meeting and interaction with the young minds at IIT Bombay echoed motivation and high-spirited energy on Sunday afternoon.
