Mansi Nirmal Jain, Writer and Director who has had engrossing short films Lunch Lady, Sariwala, Sleep etc is all set to take her new short film Nawab for a world premiere at the Mumbai Film Festival.
Nawab written and directed by Mansi has Aparshakti Khurana, Mallika Dua, Maria Goretti and Geetika Vidya playing central roles.
The short film will deal with the intricate subject of what will happen when a couple breaks up and when neither of them want to keep their dog?
Heartbroken by his marriage breaking up, a man struggles to take care of himself and the dog left behind with him. He goes through a series of attempts to get rid of the unwanted dog, which is a 35 kg responsibility which he never wanted.
The short film will screen on 18 October.
