Republic TV to live-stream on ZEE5

ZEE5, India’s largest multilingual entertainment destination strengthened its offering in the news content space by launching the live-stream of Arnab Goswami’s Republic TV on the platform. Having launched its operations in February 2018 with a strong acquired content portfolio and successively strengthening its original content portfolio, the platform has now strongly established its news section too.

Announcing the partnership, Manish Aggarwal, Business Head, ZEE5 India said, “ZEE5, through its premium quality content – both syndicated and original – strives to create an immersive experience for viewers. With the addition of Republic TV, the platform is looking to connect with viewers who are digitally savvy but do not want to lose on the live news experience. Our association with Republic TV aligns well with our commitment to making ZEE5 as the one-stop destination for digital content consumption.”

With the already existing news library of leading regional channels on the platform such as Doordarshan News, 24 Ghanta and Raj News, ZEE5 now brings in one of the biggest national news channels Republic TV for their viewers. Additionally, the platform also gives viewers access to international news channels such as BBC World News, CNNi SA and Chardikla Time TV. Republic TV will be listed under the news category of the live streaming section on the ZEE5 app. With this association, ZEE5 will open its platform to viewers who want to be constantly updated about the latest happenings in and around the globe through live streaming of the news channel.

With over 3500 films, 500+ TV shows, 4000+ music videos, 35+ theatre plays and 90+ LIVE TV Channels across 12 languages, ZEE5 truly presents a blend of unrivalled content offering for its viewers across the nation. With ZEE5, the global content of Zindagi as a brand, which was widely appreciated across the country, has also been brought back for its loyal viewers.
