TVF brings back Season 2 of ‘Bachelors’ after a highly successful Season1

4 bachelors, 1 villain aur duniya bhar ke problems! TVF is bringing back the web-series Bachelors for a 2nd season of adventures. Shivankit Parihar, Badri Chavan, and Jasmeet Singh reprise their roles as the titular ‘bachelors’ with internet favourite, Jeetu, joining the cast for season two. The series was lauded for keeping the Bollywood parody alive on the internet – every episode of Bachelors explores hilarious situations in their lives that parodies the humour & drama of masala Bollywood movies. Joining them in each episode, playing the villain is the web’s man for all seasons, Gopal Dutt.

This season, the Bachelors try to get a job, cook a meal, and battle the month end among other adventures in 5 uproarious, side-splitting episodes. The new episodes came out on Friday, 24th November. The first season saw over 25 million views while parodying movies like Lagaan, Munnabhai M.B.B.S., and Nayak. The first episode of Season 2 trended on #1 on YouTube over the weekend.

In Season 1, the ‘Ekdum Original show from TVF, the Bachelors faced a long list of battles: from landlord to ghosts to dry days. Season 2 will follow the journey of four Bachelors: Jizzy, Shivankit, Badri and Jeetu through everyday situations and problems featuring their arch nemesis, Gopal Dutt who is sometimes the society’s common watchman (a brilliant nod to Naseeruddin Shah’s common man portrayal in The Wednesday), and sometimes the professor with the sole intention of making a dent in their everyday lives.

Bachelors Season 2 is presented by Hero Glamour.

Commenting on the second season, Amrit Raj Gupta, Director said, “I am very lucky to be directing the second season of this series – I’d never thought some of my own bachelor adventures would be immortalized in a web-series. Every instance of bachelor life in the show – about being jobless, foodless, penni-less, or loveless – has been inspired from one of lives, and of course, from Bollywood.”

Commenting on another successful branded content launch, Vijay Koshy, Head – Brand Partnerships, TVF, said, “The partnership between TVF, Hero Motocorp, and Wavemaker Content made this season possible. We’d thank Hero for being great partners and helping us tell stories that are engaging, shareable, and very watchable. When two market leaders join forces, we can pave the way forward for branded content and that’s what we’ve done with Bachelors Season 2.”
