OTT platforms have emerged as the new favorite, captivating viewers globally — and Indians, with many of the most-searched shows originating from the OTT space. Google has revealed its top 10 most-searched shows by Indians in 2024.
Among these, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web show Heeramandi, Panchayat, and Kota Factory stood out as the top searches of the year. While Heeramandi secured the first position, Panchayat ranked fifth, and Kota Factory claimed the eighth spot.
Furthermore, this year has been dominated by TVF with its shows like Sapne Vs Everyone, Very Parivarik, Panchayat Season 3, Kota Factory Season 3, Gullak Season 4, and Arranged Couple. TVF with their shows proved that they have the best understanding of the audience and their taste for content as they can make shows which resonates deeply with the audience.
