In today’s world that has given more importance to unrealistic beauty standards, females sometimes take the way of surgical and cosmetics procedures to look more pretty. They opt for it even if it costs a lot. And there have been cases where this experiment ends up in disaster. And once again we have come up with such a story of Versace Model Jennifer Pamplona.
Jennifer Pamplona spends $600k to transform herself into Kim Kardashian. However, the model has paid $120k to detransition her back in her original appearance.
As per the reports of the New York Post, the model had 40 operations to imitate the celebrity Kim Kardashian, but she understood her appearance was the best in the end.
The model said, “People would call me a Kardashian and it started to get annoying,” and “I had worked and studied and was a businesswoman. I had done all these things and achievements in my personal life, but I was only being recognized because I looked like a Kardashian.”
Jennifer had her first surgery at the age of 17. And this led to her greed for cosmetic procedures that would make her look like Kim Kardashian. The three rhinoplasties, eight operations on her bottom, butt implantation and fat injections to copy Kim Kardashian’s body appearance. After which, she attracted the attention of Kim Kardashian’s twin and was in the limelight in the post.
Though achieving what she wanted, the model was unhappy. She said, “I discovered that I was addicted to surgery and I wasn’t happy, I was putting filler in my face like I was in the supermarket.” She also shared, “It was an addiction and I got into a cycle of surgery equals fame and money, I just lost control of everything. I went through a lot of hard times.”
Jennifer revealed that she had been sad for years before understanding that she had body dysmorphia and wanted to return to her real appearance. While she found a physician in Istanbul who claimed to transform her into her natural appearance. “I saw on the computer beforehand how I would look and it was like I was having a rebirth,” Jennifer said. “I had a face and neck lift, buccal fat removal, cat eye surgery, a lip lift and a nose job all at once,” Pamplona added. “I went into the operation room as one person and I came out as another.”
And after the detransition procedure, it revealed that this process caused her illness also her cheeks were bleeding for three days. “I thought I was dying,” she expressed “I was thinking to myself, ‘What the hell have I done with my life?’
Fortunately, she is currently recovering from her dangerous side effects, but still, she has swelling and bruises; the treatment’s effects are not clear yet. But Jennifer claimed that she knew that the painful procedure was worth it.
