The year 2019 has been great and full of excitement with new shows and new concepts, both in the digital as well as the television world. But we still have a small place in our hearts for the shows that went off air at the beginning of the year. These shows were great to watch and we wished would end in an expected ending. Nevertheless, it couldn’t work out so!

Here are some of the shows that we loved and wished to be still on air:

1. Daastan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali
It was an Indian historical television series that aired on Colors TV and was created by Ludhiana Pathak’s Writer’s Galaxy Studios. It revolved around the historical love story of Prince Salim and Anarkali. It featured Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria as leads. It went off air from TV on 4th January ’19.

2. Mariam Khan – Reporting Live –
It is an Indian television series that aired on Star Plus and Hotstar. Mariam Khan is an imaginative and curious child who does not take things at face value. The series premiered on 21 May 2018 and ended on 11 January 2019. It was produced by Majid Azam and Afaque Azam. It starred Mahima Makwana and Param Singh.

3. Tantra
Tantra which means black magic is an Indian Hindi language supernatural television series based on black magic, which aired on 3rd December 2018 and ended on 5 April 2019 on Colors TV. Produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary under Swastik Productions, it starred Sargun Kaur Luthra, Juhi Parmar, Manish Goel and Sameksha. Tantra is the story of a family that has fallen prey to the clutches of an evil incarnation.
