On the internet, a touching video of strangers cheering on a toddler in a restaurant on a wet day has gone viral. Because the pandemic had cut off human contact for more than a year, many people found this touching, and it was regarded as a “collective, social experience.”
When a family was stuck in the rain outside their modest Greenport bay entryway, they went to a restaurant to wait it out. At the eatery, a little child named Liam was spotted “showing his muscles” by raising his arms in the air. At first, only the individuals at the table behind them began to enthuse him. But suddenly, the entire diner was clapping and cheering whenever Liam raised his hands.
Claudio’s Restaurant, a prominent seafood restaurant in the region, captured the tender moment.
Milestones Pediatrics, a therapeutic support organization that uploaded the video, commented online, “This went on for about five minutes straight, including the chefs and bartenders coming out from the kitchen and behind the bar to join in, I think it’s the hardest we ever laughed.”
