If you’re unfamiliar with him, he’s become fairly popular on Instagram after appearing in a video riding his skateboard along a road while dressed stylishly. The video of Igor skating in St. Petersburg has been viewed over 3 million times.
It just wasn’t simply his flawless skateboarding that drew the internet’s notice. According to the video’s caption, the 73-year-old skateboarder has been skating since 1981. As evidenced by the way he moves along the street.
Igor’s skateboarding talents have been lauded by Instagrammers in the comments section. As one user put it, “This is precisely what I needed to see as a 33-year-old who had just seen the mid-90s for the first time and had spent the previous three weeks longing for his lost youth. I can certainly start skating again if this man started when I was his age.”
One of the users was of the opinion that, “if this does not impress somebody, then something is wrong with you. I have to give this guy my hat off because he’s 73 and still skateboarding. I’m surprised and happy about him.”
