A woman has put out a video of her parents that appears to have piqued the interest of the internet. The old man is performing a ghazal for his wife on her birthday in an era when relationships are chosen by the swipe of a finger. The mother’s expressions, on the other hand, have everyone — including the woman — perplexed.
Rakhi Tripathi, a Twitter user, recently tweeted a video of her father, retired IIT professor Prof V K Tripathi, singing a ghazal for his wife on her birthday. The husband’s musical abilities have amazed many after he sang a heartfelt rendition of Talat Aziz’s Khuda Kare Ki Mohabbat Mein.
However, it was his wife’s solemn expression that prompted their daughter to upload the footage to YouTube. “Mommy, papa is singing for you… plz don’t make faces. These oldies I tell you,” she jokingly posted on Twitter.
