Gone are the days of simple scarecrows; India is recognized for its ingenuity, as evidenced by this video. In one case, a resourceful farmer decided to make a contraption out of commonplace items to keep animals and birds away from his harvest.
An iron chain is hooked to the motor of a fan in the video, and while the fan runs, the chain continuously hits the empty steel box, generating a loud noise. A continual sound may be heard in the field thanks to this gadget, which keeps the birds away. Loud noises disturb birds in most cases.
