Beautiful birds traveling to warmer climates throughout the winter months are usually popular on the Internet. Supriya Sahu, an IAS officer, recently shared a similar, gorgeous video of migratory birds, including several flamingos, on Twitter.
The short video clip begins with the flamingos forming a line and continuing to move to the left in unison with the rest of the flock. Supriya Sahu, an IAS officer with the Tamil Nadu government, is the Principal Secretary of Environment, Climate Change, and Forests.
It was shot in Kodiakarai, Tamil Nadu, at the Point Calimere Wildlife & Bird Sanctuary. The video was shared with the caption, “Point Calimere (Kodiakarai) Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu is abuzz with thousands of migratory birds.” In the caption, Sahu included the hashtag #TNForests.

The video has received over 700 likes on the social networking platform since it was released on December 25. It has also gained a lot of positive feedback from nature enthusiasts.
“Went there in October, a wildlife sanctuary with a lighthouse and seashore,” a Twitter user commented. “Read about this place in Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan in my childhood. It was India’s most famous natural harbor during the Sangam Era,” shared someone else. “Nature has no boundaries,” a third said, referring to migration. “Awesome to see so many,” said a fourth.
