Not just adults are ecstatic; children have returned to school after nearly two years off, and the excitement is tangible. To the point where a family has chosen to throw a big party complete with a band!

Yes, a family hired a small band to play joyous music outside the school’s gate to celebrate their child’s return to the classroom following protracted lockdowns. Understandably, a video of the funny scene has gone viral on social media.

The band plays instruments with passion, ranging from drums to trumpets, as parents and a little child gaze on in the video, which was posted on Twitter by user Safir (@safiranand).

“Family is so happy to send kids to school,” the user captioned the video, which was taken outside Springdales School in Dhaula Kuan and was not dated.

Many people were taken aback by the family members’ joy when the video became popular on the internet. Some quipped that the song was presumably made for parents who didn’t have to watch their kids all day, which is a popular topic in #SchoolReopen memes.
