Internet Astounded By Video Of “River Of Bats” Rising From Mexican Cave

The internet is ablaze with a video showing a swarm of bats flying out of a cave in Mexico. The video has received more than 169,000 likes and more than 6 million views since it was posted on Twitter.

Numerous bats are seen flying out of Cueva de Los Murciélagos in the popular video, which was captured from an automobile (Cave of the bats). The caption of the photo said, “Watch this continuous torrent of bats exiting from this cave.”

The bats seemed to be a plume of black smoke flying swiftly in one direction into the sky when they were photographed.

The video has garnered popularity on social media since being posted. One user humorously commented that “Batman has called these bats for his greatest quest.” “What a stunning sight.” Another person said, “Bats are crucial to our earth.” A third person remarked, “A wonderful natural phenomenon,” while a fourth person said, “It’s fantastic! I’m wondering why they all appear to have emerged.”

In the meantime, speaking of bats, a recent study found that some wild bats can remember sounds for a long time. The scientists discovered that the ringtones regularly caused the frog-eating bats (Trachop’s cirrhosis) to react, rewarding them with food.

These bats, often referred to as fringe-lipped bats, have a range that extends from southern Mexico and Central America to Bolivia and Brazil. They consume fruit, insects, frogs, lizards, and other bats, and are medium-sized species. 49 study participants, or bats, had microchips inserted before being released back into the wild.
