A robber in Maharashtra’s Thane city allegedly prayed to God before allegedly taking a cash box from a shrine. According to police, the accused allegedly broke into the shrine of Lord Hanuman in the Khopat area on the night of November 9 and grabbed the cash box containing around Rs 1,000. On social media, a video of the incident has gone viral.

According to the official, the robber was seen worshiping in front of God’s statue before snatching the cash box housed there.
The offender was apprehended by the Naupada police on Saturday, and the stolen money was recovered from him, according to the official.
