While it is normal for commuters to push broken-down cars along the road, this is not the case with airlines. However, a bunch of people did exactly that at a Nepalese airport, believe it or not. Now, a video of the unbelievable moment has gone viral on social media.
Passengers were seen pushing a little plane on the runway with all their might in a video that went popular on TikTok initially. After one of the plane’s tyres exploded, hundreds of people were seen standing on either side of it, aiding it in moving down the runway. Passengers pushed a light Tara Aeroplane at Bajura Airport in Kolti, which was seen on camera.
The video went popular on Twitter, with one Nepalese user joking, “Probably only in Nepal.”

The Twin Otter aircraft belonging to Tara Air with registration number 9NAEV was trapped in the middle of the runway, according to Nepali journalist Sushil Bhattarai. While the jet was blocking the runway, passengers and security personnel banded together to move the plane and end the incident.
Tara Air is Yeti Airlines’ sister company. According to their spokesman, the plane had just landed at Bajura Airport from Simikot in Humla when the tragedy occurred. Because there were no facilities to drag the plane to the other side, passengers assisted airport officials in moving the jet from the taxiway so that flight operations could restart.
After that, a business jet from Nepalganj arrived in Bajura with tyres and experts. According to the spokesman, both planes landed in Nepalgunj after the tyres were installed.
