Riddles can be all fun and games when you can quickly solve them and have fun. But that is not the case always, especially not with math riddles and tricks. Math problems can sometimes get the best of you in school or even generally in life.
Something similar occurred when a group of engineering students was caught completely off guard when a friend of theirs handed them a riddle to solve. When we say engineering students, we expect them to be able to solve math problems more easily than the rest of us, keeping in mind the difficult math equations they tackle. But that was not the case this time.
These three boys were caught off guard when a classmate of theirs tricked them with a math problem to solve. TikToker Karen Gendi gave a piece of paper with the number 100 written twice on top of each other and a horizontal line underneath it.
She asked her friends to convert those numbers into a 200 with just one straight line. She gave them a time frame of three minutes and is even heard saying that she would give them whatever they want if they solve it in under three minutes.
The boys were completely startled by the problem and could not think of a solution till the very end. However, at the last minute, one of the boys was smart enough to come up with the solution. He drew a line across one of the hundreds making it 2 hundred’s and hence solving the riddle.
