The titular snake is shown as a large, dreadful animal in anacondas. Green anacondas can reach lengths of up to 30 feet. Therefore, they are enormous. They belong to the family of snakes known as boas and can weigh up to 550 pounds, or 11 schoolchildren. Thus, the sight of these terrifying creatures hunting can make you queasy.

In a widely shared internet video, a massive yellow anaconda is seen in Brazil encircling a Caiman, a subspecies of an alligator. The astounding scene was recorded on camera by Kim Sullivan from Indiana in the United States in September of last year, and it has since gained widespread attention.

According to Ms. Sullivan, the film depicts the crocodile and snake’s 40-minute-long struggle on the banks of the Cuiaba River.

As the anaconda suffocates it more and more, the crocodile can be seen trying to breathe. The photographer, who observed the entire struggle, previously posted on social media that the caiman submerged to free itself and that the anaconda’s snout tip was straining for air.

After some time, the crocodile rose, but Ms. Sullivan claimed that the enormous snake was still seen choking the animal. As a result, it submerged once more for a long time before emerging free. She said, “The anaconda came up on the riverbank too and slithered back into its hole.”

Africa Wildlife1 has since posted the footage to Instagram. Its caption said, “It’s the biggest of them all: The Anaconda. It’s not a Python; it’s not a Boa Constrictor.”

Users thought the fight was spectacular and speculated on what would happen in the end. “I’m choosing the crocodile. There is no way the anaconda will swallow a crocodile that size,” said a third user. An anaconda was seen rushing out of the water and biting a Brazilian fishing guide in a recent video that went viral. The 38-year-old Joao Severino and other boat passengers were seen just fleeing the female anaconda in the footage.
