It was encouraging to observe in a viral video how traffic police officers halted commuters on both sides of the road to let a tiger cross the highway at a time when road accidents involving wild animals are on the rise. In the widely shared video, traffic officers advise commuters to maintain their composure as a tiger approaches the intersection and halts them at a light on both sides of the street. People exited their cars to record the scene on their iPhones as it happened. People can be seen being told by a police officer to be calm and avoid frightening the animal in any way. The tiger’s serenity and the patience with which the drivers waited for it are two excellent aspects.

Parveen Kaswan, an IFS officer, posted the footage. He thanked the people and the police while disseminating the footage. He noted: “For tigers alone, the green signal. these lovely individuals. Unknown place.”

The IFS officer was unsure of the video’s exact location, however, several people said that Maharashtra was where it was filmed. When the video was posted online, it received over 191.6K views. Following their enjoyment of the clip, internet users shared their opinions in the comments area. A user said, “Quite an unusual circumstance, this tiger has accepted human presence, or was it not hungry?” “We need green lanes for simple passage,” said another person.
