Some creatures can be both adorable and frightening. It’s no surprise that exotic animal films showcasing snakes and bears, in addition to our regular non-threatening companions, cats, and dogs, have captivated the internet.
A video of a woman in New Jersey, United States, begging a bear to seal her door has gone viral. The woman, bear activist Susan Kehoe, can be heard asking the bear to close the door as a frigid wind blast through, according to Newsweek. Sharing the video on YouTube, she captioned, “Bears are damn smart! This bear learned how to close the front door to my house.”
The camera moves to a bear outside Kehoe’s door as she opens it to peer outside to see if it’s raining. “Oooh, who do we have here?” she can be heard saying. “Will you please close my door, Mr. Bear?” As the bear approaches the doorway, she repeats the direction numerous times. “Mr. Bear, close the door.”
Following her directions, the bear can be seen closing the door with its mouth.
The video has 87,815 views and 140 likes since it was posted on November 23, 2021.
