Fight between a lioness and a buffalo: Buffaloes are one of the lions’ favorite foods. Because buffaloes are large animals with a lot of flesh, if lions can hunt one, they won’t have to hunt for another five days. A buffalo, on the other hand, is a difficult prey for lionesses who hunt for their pride. While hunting, we’ve seen lionesses being thrown into the air or frightened away by a herd of buffaloes.
A video circulating on social media shows a lioness having a difficult time hunting buffaloes because their prey was not cooperating that day. In her defense, the lioness was not particularly sneaky and was outmanned. She was attempting to hunt a buffalo, but the herd surrounded her and attempted to attack her with their horns.
The lioness tried to flee, but she was on the verge of a gorge, surrounded by buffaloes in front of her. Finally, the lioness bolted like a scaredy-cat, but she had to rush through buffaloes to get there. The video was posted to Instagram by the page ‘wildlife stories_’ and has over 3,400 likes.
