When someone says the word “funeral,” the discourse takes on a depressing tone. The burial of a man, however, became emotional for witnesses when many ice-cream trucks joined the parade. Confused? Louisa Davies, a South London resident, was in the same boat. Louisa was startled awake by weird noises in the morning, and when she approached the window, she observed a funeral procession complete with ice-cream trucks.

The funeral was for Hasan Dervish, an ice-cream vendor, who was given a heartfelt send-off by his colleagues in ice-cream trucks, according to DailyMail. Louisa posted a video of the procession on Twitter, and it quickly went viral.

She captioned the video, “Just witnessed an ice cream man’s funeral and all the ice cream vans came and followed in solidarity I AM SOBBING.”

The video has received over 13.4 million views and several comments. “I’d like to send my respects to the family and let them know this procession brought joy to a lot of people today,” Louisa informed DailyMail. “I’d never seen anything like this before so I was quickly shocked at first but then thought it was just the nicest most heartwarming send-off,” she added.
