Kili Paul, a well-known Tanzanian TikTok celebrity, has a sizable following in India. Following a slew of Bollywood dancing videos, the social media sensation recently showed off his acting chops with a lip-sync to Channa Mereya.
His enthusiasm for Bollywood music appears to remain constant since he went viral in late November, dancing to Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur’s ‘Raataan Lambiyan’ from Shershaah. The TikTok sensation, who has been melting hearts online by dancing and singing to current upbeat Hindi songs, has chosen Arijit Singh’s heartfelt ballad.
Paul, who is known for his elaborate dance routines while dressed in traditional Maasai garb, was visibly moved when performing the song. Paul channeled Ranbir Kapoor, who played the devastated Ayan in the movie, as his love Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) did not feel the same way about him while lip-syncing to the 2016 hit.

As the video gained a lot of attention on Instagram, Paul received praise from people all around the world, who agreed that music transcends all boundaries and is a common language.
Since late November, Paul and his sister Neema have been routinely sharing Indian content on Instagram, gaining a particular place in the hearts of desi followers, much like ‘Dancing Dad’ Ricky Pond from the United States.
