In an interview with the Times of India, the officer talked about the incident. “I was at platforms 2 and 3 when I witnessed elderly women heading towards a remote region of the station through a railway track after alighting from the platform. They continued moving despite my protests, which they ignored. A few minutes later, the women began crossing the railroad tracks to return to platform 2, and I once more opposed it because the Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express was due to pass through the station. I was ignored by the women.” The gallant officer declared, “While one was able to mount the platform, the other septuagenarian was still on course.”
“I hurried to the edge of the platform and pulled her up with all of my might. By a little nanosecond, she was spared. I was able to hold the woman during the performance thanks to my RFP training, which also helped me stay stable on the platform as the fast express train passed,” Dubey stated.
Mr. Dubey is a native of the Jhansi district’s Magarpur hamlet. Ramsakhi Tiwari, a citizen of Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur area, was revealed to be the name of the woman who had been saved. She and her family were en route to Haridwar when the Kalinga Utkal express was many hours late. After crossing the railroad tracks, she and her sister-in-law proceeded to the restroom, which is what started the whole thing.
