The most recent patch of Call of Duty Warzone, the community’s favorite battle royale, has officially gone live with Season 5 and made significant adjustments. One of the most radical game patches ever introduced is considered to be the Season 5 “Last Stand” patch for Call of Duty Warzone. Regarding the maps, both Caldera and Rebirth Island have seen significant adjustments as a result of the most recent season.
In addition to those, the most recent patch has also added new game modes, one-time events, weapons, gameplay, and quality-of-life changes. To satisfy gamers’ need for new cosmetics, there are also new skins, camos, operators, and other visual pleasures. The unexpected shift in the perks that players can use in their personal loadouts, though, is one of the more intriguing additions. Let’s examine the adjustments the Season 5 patch has made to the game’s benefits.
In Call of Duty Warzone, perks are linked to specific classes, and as players are able to equip their load-outs, their effects become active. In Call of Duty Warzone, there are three perk slots, and each slot has a different set of perks that can be equipped. These advantages provide players unique benefits or skills that significantly boost their combat power.
The Serpentine and Battle Hardened perks have seen some interesting alterations as a result of the Season 5 patch. Serpentine was a slot one perk that, while sprinting, reduced all incoming damage to the player by 15%. It has since been changed. The Serpentine perk will not lessen players’ existing bullet, fire, or explosive damage in Warzone’s Season 5. Previously, simply sprinting would be sufficient to activate the Serpentine perk’s damage reduction. Players will only now benefit from the damage reduction boost when they are currently sprinting, though. Players need to be aware that the tac sprint change won’t happen until much later in the season.
The Serpentine perk has been severely diminished. However, the Battle Hardened perk has been greatly enhanced. Players now have an increased 80 percent resistance to flashbangs and stun grenades, which is a huge improvement over the prior 70 and 50 percent, respectively. In less than a second, players will be able to counteract the impacts of these two tactical items.
