Clash Royale saw various modifications in 2021, the most prominent of which was the addition of Champions and a new level 14 for cards. Along with those, there were other changes, such as lower upgrading costs, Magic Items to aid progression, new sorts of Chests, and more. Overall, Clash Royale had a really interesting year.
However, as we have approached the year 2022, Supercell has established its primary objectives for this year. The most notable is the addition of new opportunities to advance and earn prizes, as well as more customization and personalization choices and enhancements to existing functions. These are in addition to gains in quality of life.
Overall, the outlook for this year is a bit hazy, but we like the concept of greater personalization choices.
The rate at which Supercell releases balance changes is perhaps the most significant development that occurred in 2022. Supercell now provides balancing tweaks every three months, however, gamers have complained that this is too long of a gap. It doesn’t take long for players to discover new metas, and they quickly find out which cards are the most strong and build their decks around them.
Supercell also addressed the Bandit and Fisherman’s persistent difficulties. They’re working to address the errors, but they admit it’s taking longer than expected owing to certain development challenges. They didn’t go into detail, but they said they were working on it.
