Mikasa Ackerman, as one of the primary characters in Attack on Titan, has evolved and developed throughout the series arcs. Mikasa has gone a long way from the little girl who lost her parents, but she may not be where she wants to be. Mikasa had no wish to be a soldier, despite being the finest. Mikasa only joined the cadets since Eren and Armin were also attending.

Mikasa had been in love with Eren since he freed her from human traffickers when she was a child, and her fixation with him seemed to be her only distinguishing characteristic for a long time. Mikasa, on the other hand, is a sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be with the people she cares about, whether they’re at the cadet barracks, on a hillside farm, or on a zeppelin flying over Marley.

Mikasa fighting against the Jaegirists

Her heart is devastated, she unwillingly throws her scarf aside and resolves to let go of Eren if that’s what he really wants. She and Jean were left in Sina when the Rumbling began to clean up the damage and deal with the Jaegerists. Mikasa goes to get her scarf from a dying soldier who looks up to her, demonstrating that she isn’t about to let this go. She doesn’t want to justify Eren’s behavior and, in a sense, wants to save him from himself. When Hange pleads for her and Jean’s assistance, she gladly accepts, stating unequivocally that Eren must be stopped.

Mikasa has progressed from a naive character to one of the series’ most powerful female characters.
