The first time you play Grand Theft Auto, you’ll probably make many rookie mistakes. But if you’re reading this article, chances are you know what they are already—and there’s no shame in that! We’ve all been there.
If you’re new to Grand Theft Auto or have played it a lot but want to get better at it, here are some of the most common rookie mistakes you can fix.
1) You don’t know where your opponents are! In GTA, there are three visible players in each match—the red and blue teams (and also a green team). When you’re playing as either a red or blue player, you have to remember which team is on your side and which one is on the other side. If your teammates aren’t visible from your position, make sure you turn on their name tags so that they become visible when you hover over them with your mouse cursor.
2) You don’t know how to use weapons! Weapons in GTA include pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine guns, and even rocket launchers. You’ll want to learn how to use each of these weapons effectively because they will help you kill enemies faster or protect yourself from being killed by others.
3) You don’t know how to manoeuvre around the map! The map in GTA is very big—it can take days for someone new to this game to explore it fully.
4)You don’t know how to use your phone or computer. You can’t call people on your phone and don’t know how to use the map or get anywhere near a store—even though these are both essential parts of GTA gameplay!
5) You don’t know what all the icons mean on your HUD (heads-up display). This includes health bars, weapons stats, ammo counts, and money values (among other things).
