The Combat Pistol is a more powerful variant of the basic pistol that was introduced in Fortnite’s November 9 update.
The Combat Pistol is the weapon to be added to Fortnite, following the reintroduction of Grapplers. Epic Games isn’t only adding new stuff to our arsenals; it’s also altering current weapons of mass destruction. A perfected version of The Sideways Rifle is among them.
At the start of Chapter 2, Season 8, the Sideways weapons were introduced as strong prizes for slaying Cube Monsters – terrible entities from another dimension. One of the better possibilities was the Sideways Rifle, it’s ready for a few balance tweaks.
The Sideways Rifle has never been more accurate. However, it will now overheat faster and for a longer period of time, requiring you to change weapons in the middle of combat. The goal is to fire the gun long enough to unlock its powered-up condition (on the verge of overheating), increasing the damage while avoiding overheating.

Chapter 3, 2 Season
The second season of Fortnite Chapter 3 is now available, and gamers are busy discovering all of the new things that are introduced to the game.
Players can acquire exclusive Season 2 cosmetics by unlocking a new Battle Pass with 100 tiers of content. There are also new characters, clothing, weapons, POIs, and other features to enjoy.
The new Combat SMG is one of the new weapons, and it’s causing quite a stir among the Fortnite community. Players are angry because Epic Games did not learn from their bad experience with the spam meta in Season 1 thanks to Stinger SMG.
