Arunita Kanjilal is a talented vocalist who won Zee Bangla’s SAREGAMAPA 2013 competition. Arunita has a better comprehension and interest in Indian classical music and semi-classical songs than her opponents. She is an 18-year-old girl who was born on January 18, 2003, in Bangaon, Kolkata, West Bengal.
Arunita’s mother, who is also a singer, is passionate about music. Because her mother is a singer, Arunita has been interested in singing since she was a youngster, or we might say it’s in her blood. Arunita began classical music lessons when she was four years old. Arunita’s early music was mentored by her uncle.
Arunita then got singing lessons from Guru Ravindra Ganguly in Pune to improve her skills. Arunita competed in Zee Bangla’s TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs 2013 for the first time, wowing everyone with her singing and winning the show.
This did not deter Arunita; in 2014, she competed in the singing reality program Saregamapa Little Champs, which aired on Zee TV, and her performance on the song Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo, originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar Ji, received a standing ovation from the judges and the public.
She also has her own YouTube channel, which she used to post the initial video of the patriotic song. Arunita has also performed an international stage show alongside Shaan Mukherjee, a well-known playback vocalist, and another contender Gagan Gonkar.
She’s performed on stage in Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Huston, among other cities. She has gained international followers as a result of all of these stage plays, which were followed by a live stage show in Satara, which garnered a positive reception from the crowd.
Arunita emerged as the first runner-up in Indian Idol Season 12’s difficult singing battle, which lasted many months. Pawandeep, in addition to Arunita, was the winner of Indian Idol Season 12’s title. Sayli Kamble, Mohammad Danish, Nihal Tauro, and Shanmukh Priya were named second, third, fourth, and fifth runners up, respectively.
