Do you have a stash of outdated hair ties lying around the house? Or maybe you just want to combine more than two but don’t know how? You can use as many hair ties as you want or need; mine are all the same type, but you can use a range of other ones. 1 broken hair tie (you can cut one if you don’t have one) Scissors, to cut a tie if it isn’t broken and the ends are frayed. Pinch the middle of a tie, then gently lift the ends. The illustrations demonstrate how to do it.

Pinch the middle of a second tie. Pull one end of the second one through both ends of the previous one (they should look like small loops). Pull the ends together and stretch it out a little more. Check the image to check if you’re on the correct track. Put a pencil between the loops of the initial tie if you’re having difficulties holding it. Repeat until the bracelet is large enough to wrap around your wrist. It should be large enough that the frequent stretching while wearing it does not cause it to break.

Now, grab the broken tie or a tie that you no longer care about and cut it close to the metal section (if there is one). If there are any frayed ends, trim them. Take one end of the cut one and double knot it through all four loops (2 on each end). It will most likely fall apart if you don’t double knot it before putting it on. Now trim the ends and flaunt your fantastic bracelet!!!
