Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee the Ram and Sita of Indian TV got to know each other when they were cast together for the show Ramayan.
The show that aired on NDTV Imagine started their story as soulmates. From being mere co-actors, they got to know each other and became friends. All started when the two of them who met often owing to common acquaintance grew fond of each other, and started missing each other.
However, since both of them were reserved and shy, they could not express their feelings earlier. Later when Ramayan happened, they got to know each other really well.
They found their similarities linking them further and soon it was a love story that happened. The two of them got married in the year 2011.
They are a happy couple now, having been through each other’s ups and downs.
