Jennie Kim, also known as BLACKPINK’s Jennie, is a South Korean singer and rapper. Jennie, who was born on January 16, 1996, studied in New Zealand before returning to make her debut in August 2016 with the tremendously successful K-pop girl group BLACKPINK alongside members Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa. Jennie was the first member to go out on her own, releasing the solo album and title tune, ‘Solo.’ It went on to be a commercial triumph for the vocalist and broke several records, demonstrating the group’s global reach. Jennie’s catchy dances on the mysterious tune earned her a fan favorite and put her on the radar of major design firms.
