Take A Look At Inspiring Single Mothers Of B-Town: From Raveena Tandon To Karisma Kapoor

Raveena and Sushmita are two B-Town single moms who have reinvented parenthood.

Inspiration, encouragement and beautiful things abound in Bollywood. The strength and nurturing of a single mother is one such feature that genuinely inspires us. Bollywood’s single mothers are not only successful actresses of their era, but they’ve also revolutionized what it means to be a single parent. Let’s have a look at some of our favorite Bollywood divas who make us happy.

In 1995, Raveena Tandon, at 19 years old, adopted two children, Pooja and Chhaya, who were 11 and 8 years old at the time. Raveena is now a grandmother to the children of her eldest daughter Pooja! Raveena became a mother to a small girl named Rasha and a kid named Ranbir after marrying film producer Anil Thadani in 2004. Her determination to give all of her love and care to the children is a lesson to be learned.

Sushmita Sen, a former Miss Universe, and a Bollywood on-screen persona adopted Renee when she was barely 25 years old in 2000. It’s incredible to adopt a child at such a young age.

In 2003, Karisma Kapoor married producer Sanjay Kapur. Following eleven years of marriage, they filed for divorce in 2014. Karisma then brought up Samaira Kapoor, a little girl, and Kiaan Raj Kapoor, a kid. In 2016, Karisma and Sanjay officially divorced.

Before their wedding, Kamal Haasan’s second wife, performer Sarika, gave birth to lovely Shruti Haasan. Shruti was born in 1986, and they married in 1988, two years after she was born. Kamal divorced Sarika in 2004, following which she moved in with both of her daughters. Sarika’s incredible never-say-die attitude is a true inspiration to many. Shruti and Akshara are both accomplished in their occupations, and Sarika deserves recognition.
