Taylor Swift chose against a “” Halloween costume for 2021. Instead, in 2021, she dressed up as a buck-toothed squirrel in a huge squirrel outfit. “Can’t chat right now because I’m doing hot squirrel s***,” she captioned two images of herself wearing the outfit. She posed straight-on with her hands framing the underside of her face in one photo, and to the side in another to show off the costume’s bushy tail.
Taylor has been rather quiet on social media since the release of her album Red (Taylor’s Version) on November 12. The album is a re-recording of Taylor’s 2012 album, but it also includes a few additional songs that didn’t make the initial cut when the album was released. This is Taylor’s second album that she has re-recorded in order to own the masters to the song. Big Machine, Tay’s previous record company, sold the original masters from her first six albums to Scooter Braun in 2019. Shamrock Holdings, a private equity group, bought the masters from Scooter in 2020. Taylor has now re-recorded the six tracks in order to hold the rights to her own songs.
Taylor attended the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 30th, in addition to promoting Red (TV). As she admitted Carole King into the exclusive organization, she looked stunning in a lacy black jumpsuit. Taylor not only gave a statement in honor of Carole, but she also sang “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” by the iconic singer at the ceremony.
So yet, Taylor hasn’t revealed which re-recording she intends to release next. Taylor Swift’s Version of Fearless was released in April 2021, however, she still has four more albums to release: Taylor Swift, Speak Now, 1989, and Reputation. Taylor already has the masters for the three albums she has released since leaving Big Machine, Lover, Folklore, and Evermore.
